NoFap.io ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the NoFap.io mobile application (the "App") and when you visit our website at nofap.io (the "Website"). We are operated by NoFap.io, located at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, UK - WC1N 3AX.

By using the App or Website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. The Short Version

  • The App collects no personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
  • The Website uses no cookies, no analytics, and no advertising pixels.
  • We have no user accounts, no logins, and no third-party tracking SDKs.
  • The only standard information processed is the basic server log data that any website host records to deliver and secure the site.

3. Information We Collect in the App

We collect no personal data whatsoever through the App.

NoFap.io is designed with a zero-data-collection architecture. This means:

  • No account creation or sign-up is required
  • No email addresses, names, or personal identifiers are collected
  • No usage analytics or tracking scripts are embedded
  • No third-party advertising SDKs are included
  • No cookies or tracking technologies are used
  • No App data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers

All data you create within the App (streak data, journal entries, mood logs, badge progress, and settings) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device.

4. Information We Collect on the Website

The Website is a static, content-only site. We do not place cookies, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking technologies on it, and the free tools (such as quizzes and calculators) run entirely in your browser without sending your answers to us.

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data when your browser requests a page. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system information, the page requested, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is used only to deliver the Website, maintain security, and diagnose technical problems. It is not used to build a profile of you, is not sold, and is not combined with any other data to identify you.

5. Data Storage

All App data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store user-created App data. There is no cloud synchronization, no backup to external servers, and no data replication of any kind.

If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We do not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, fingerprinting, or similar tracking technologies on the App or Website. Because we set no cookies and run no analytics, there is no cookie banner to manage and nothing to opt out of. If this ever changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

7. Advertising

We may promote NoFap.io through paid advertising on third-party platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, YouTube, and TikTok. This advertising takes place on those platforms — we do not embed their advertising or measurement pixels on our Website or in our App.

If you see one of our ads or click through to our Website from one of those platforms, the platform may collect information about you in accordance with its own privacy policy and your account and device settings. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of those platforms, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of these platforms.

8. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external connection the App makes is to the Apple App Store for download and update purposes, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

The Website is delivered through a third-party hosting and content-delivery provider (Vercel Inc.), which processes the standard server log data described in Section 4 on our behalf in order to serve the site.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 17. Since the App collects no data at all and the Website uses no tracking, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's personal information.

10. Data Security

Because all App data is stored locally on your device and no App data is transmitted to external servers, your information is protected by your device's own security measures (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, device encryption). We recommend keeping your device security features enabled. The Website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

11. International Users

We are based in the United Kingdom and the Website is accessible worldwide. Because we do not collect personal data through the App and do not track Website visitors, there is no transfer of your personal data across borders by us. Any standard server log data is processed by our hosting provider as part of delivering the site.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Privacy laws such as the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) give individuals rights over their personal data, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and port that data, and to opt out of its sale.

Because we do not collect, store, or process personal data about you in any way that identifies you — and because we never sell data — there is generally no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete.
